FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Acquires the
McCarthy Building
The extraordinary generosity of the
McCarthy family combined with tax incentives resulted in the
Eureka Foundation acquiring the McCarthy Oil Building at Second
and Main Street in Eureka, Kansas.
The transaction was brokered by Eureka Foundation board
member, Steve Coulter.
A preliminary feasibility study indicates
that the McCarthy Building would be an ideal location for a
Business Incubator.
This acquisition is a significant asset for the
Foundation, and a perfect addition to the ongoing restoration of Main
Street Eureka.
