Located at the Rivers edge this provides a great setting. The building has gone through a major restoration with a great deal of attention to the Historic qualities. The building is a great example of the value of reusing our old buildings. It is not easy, but the results speak for themselves. It is hard to get this kind of authenticity and it works great for this style of restaurant. Well done guys!

Brief History

Benny's Westside has been around as long as anyone can remember .... the new owners, pretty interesting guys in their own right have chosen to keep it Benny's. The locals are very pleased that it will remain Benny's. Every generation has great stories about Bennies' all the way back to prohibition (those are the good stories). Recently it had been a refuge for the ranchers playing pitch, a couple stray cats and Benny. Benny would take life easy, sitting in the sun and he did like checking the mail (even on Sunday). Being a newcomer, I really only saw Benny once, he was checking the mail. I waved and he waved back ... I remember, it was a Sunday. Benny died peacefully in June, 2010.
