The City Clerk is appointed by the Mayor and serves as the secretary for the Council as the Official Record Custodial and Official Custodian of the City Seal. The City Clerk is responsible for attending all City council meetings, keeping the official minutes of all meetings of the City Council, recording all City Ordinances and Resolutions, attesting to all city documents, researching public record requests, administering oaths, and giving notice of public meetings as required by law.
